Virginia Mutisya

Picture
Virginia Mutisya is diploma holder in counselling psychology from East Africa School of Certified studies. Currently working with U-Tena Organization as HTS provider at Bahati Health Centre for almost three years.

The passion she has for my clients(community) is to ensure they receive the best services and are satisfied, using the standards operating procedures (SOP) and the core principles of HIV testing and counselling, according to the MOH guidelines. These are the 5C’s: consent, confidentiality, counselling, correct results and connections (linkage to care and other appropriate post-test services).
‘U-Tena has built up my self esteem, given me a good conducive environment to work in, by our team leaders having regular supervisions, liaising with the sub county bosses to ensure everything is in place’, Says Virginia.
are the people.
