Tujifunze Plus_ Education Project

Tujifunze Plus is a two year  project funded by GRIC and implemented by U – Tena Youth Organization. The intervention was designed and implemented to address learning disruption caused by Covid – 19 in Kenya, which forced learning institutions to be closed. The project is aimed at improving learning outcomes for primary school pupils both boys and girls directly by providing alternative academic learning opportunities. The project focuses on community participation and facilitating remedial sessions within the week and over the weekend supporting time takers in numeracy and literacy in a school set up. World Education Fund

U-Tena Youth Organization is working with World Education Fund to offer scholarship to needy high school students. in 2022 U-Tena offered scholarship to 222 students in Kenya.
