ANTHONY MUTUKU PATRON Anthony is the patron and a co-founder of the U-Tena Youth Organization, having worked with the youth for many years with different youth-focused or youth-led organizations. His role is to offer leadership, guidance, and support in enabling young people to identify their potential, and abilities and assist them in exploring opportunities based on their potential. As a trained trainer of trainers and as a counselor for the past 21 years his work has revolved around training young people, offering support counseling, HIV counseling, and testing services, and working with the community to explore avenues within the community that can support young people.
He has offered services to various organizations and projects including Hope Worldwide Kenya where he worked in training on life skills, offering support counseling, and Emory University faculty of Interfaith Health Program (IHP) on asset mapping targeting young people. His interest is in engaging the community in matters that influence young people, their health, and well-being. Mentoring youth through engagement to become responsible citizens. |
